When there's not a major event happening, Benson's charm turns back into something primarily for the residents to enjoy. All nights of the week, people meet at local restaurants and bars such as Morgan's, Lazy K, and El Charro, while others prep for their weekend barbecues by stocking up on meats and produce at McLamb's or Carlie's. On weekends, people head to the flea market mall for deals or the pool to entertain the kids.
