How to Pair Amazon Alexa with your DISH Hopper
Download the Amazon Alexa App and navigate to Menu > Find Music, Video & Books > TV > DISH TV. Enter your password.
On your Hopper 3 receiver, navigate to Menu > Settings > Amazon Alexa. Hit Get Code to see a pairing code displayed on your TV screen.
In the Amazon Alexa app, enter the pairing code and hit Activate. Then hit Done and wait for the app to find discoverable devices.
In the Amazon Alexa app, select your Hopper from the list of discoverable devices and hit Continue. Then select the Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, or Tap you want to pair and hit Link Devices.
You’re done! Start controlling your TV with your voice.
