How We’re Supporting the DISH Community

Protecting customers and installers.
  1. We're continuing to offer TV packages, to entertain and inform DISH customers and support our employees’ financial stability.

  2. We're training installers on CDC recommendations for preventing the spread of illness.

  3. We're checking in often with local news networks to ensure strong signal and availability.

  4. We're donating part of our network to T-Mobile to support customers relying on mobile data.

Protecting all employees in the DISH community.

  1. We’ve transitioned all possible employees to work from home so location-dependent employees stay safe.

  2. We’ve asked employees to keep travel to essential business only.

  3. We’re communicating with business partners via videoconferencing as much as possible.

  4. We’ve implemented a thorough illness-reporting plan.

  5. We’ve relaxed attendance policies for employees that become sick.

  6. We’ve scheduled more frequent cleanings to keep our buildings sanitized.

We’re Also Making Installation Safer

We plan to further protect DISH customers and employees by increasing cleanliness standards during installation appointments.

Changes to DISH Installations

  • Your installer will call one or two days before your appointment to check on your health status.

  • If your technician develops a known illness, a fever, or flu-like symptoms, we will reschedule your installation as soon as we can.

  • Technicians will work thoroughly but rapidly, to reduce the time they spend inside your house.

  • Installers will avoid shaking hands with customers and keep 6 feet of social distance at all times.

  • Technicians will wear gloves and shoe covers during their visit. They’ll also clean any work surfaces they touch.

  • Customers will have the option to verbally agree to their contract instead of physically signing.

  • Installers have permission to leave an appointment early if anyone in your home shows signs of contagious illness.
