What teams are playing in the semi-final matches?

The UEFA Cup has been entertaining soccer enthusiasts since 1971, with qualification dependent on national league and cup competition performance.

England’s Arsenal FC boasts a tournament record of 8-2-2. Hailing from Islington, London, England, this club has won one previous UEFA Cup.

Madrid’s Atlético is a two-time UEFA championship winner and currently holds a 5-0-1 tournament record. Straight out of Madrid, Atleti boasts an 86% passing accuracy rate for the tournament, which they were parachuted into for the round of 32.

Olympique de Marseille, more commonly known as Marseille, plays at the Stade Vélodrome in South Marseille, France. Current league record: 6-2-4. Marseille has scored 17 goals in the tournament so far.

Salzburg’s FC Red Bull calls Wals-Siezenheim, Austria home and plays at the Red Bull Arena. Its current tournament record is 6-5-1, with 28 saves and 10 goals conceded by its goalkeeper.

While different sources have different teams favored to win, it will be thrilling to see who takes the cup, considering only 12 of the 160 clubs have ever won the UEFA Cup title more than once.
