"The installation overall was good. The techs were pleasant and easy to work with, however they only have knowledge and training direct to the installation only and are not able to answer questions of programing etc. The customer sales rep/Alex was delightful and energetic. The customer service help line reps are rude and hard to understand. A lot of confusion with details of programing and billing etc at time or just after time of installation. The original sales rep discussed programing and equipment and specials that are not reflected in our service or current on-line billing. Still not sure that it is resolved and more than likely will not know until the first bill. Can not yet say that I am satisfied with my switch for the tv services. The internet is great! And so far very pleased with that!"

"DISH is new for me. I do like having a lot of movies and different shows to choose from. I only had the standard four or five chanels until I got DISH. I don't like having to scroll through 500 listings but I suppose that the best way to look for a show. I do love the recording feature that allows me to record my favorite shows and watch them anytime. My service was excellent when the came to set everything up and I have only had a few problems with the DISH internet. Mostly with it being slow and occassionaly not working at all. "

"WE previously had Directv and became dissatisfied with the price (i.e., renewal rates and packages) and their lack of professional services in trying to renew and cancelling The "dish" service has been excellent. The technician who installed was professional, well-mannered, and completed the installation witho 2 hours with no issues problems. The "dish" service is just what we wanted - basic family tv with the internet serive. We had to call about VPN setup on the internet and their were easy work with and stepped us through what we needed to do to rectify the problem."

"When I first spoke to the representitive we were offered the complete NFL package. When the hardware was installed, I called to find out what channels were in the NFL package. The lady on the phone gave me several channels. We called back when we couldn't find the channels. We were informed that DISH did not have an NFL package. They said were getting the REDZONE and we were not going to be charged for it. So far my son is thrilled with REDZONE so I guess it all worked out for the better. I can't make any sence out of the bill so I guess I'll find out if the REDZONE feature will be free. Getting used to navigating through the many channels has been a challenge. So far my family is satisfied."

"Before my install appointment, I called and cancelled my installation. A week later my monthly service fee was withdrawn from my account even thought I had cancelled. Now I'm receiving calls telling me I have a past due balance! This caused multiple overdrafts on my bank account. My credit card info was also given out(without my permission) to a company called "my tech help". They are also pulling a monthly fee of $9.99 out of my account. Thank you for giving me all of this headache to deal with, I didn't have enough already! I will inform EVERYONE I talk to how screwed up you customer service department is because NO ONE should be treated like this!"

"Overall I have been pleased with the service so far. The channels are a little hard to get used to navigating after being a Comcast customer for 27 years but the cost of Dish is FAR easier to deal with than the rising cost of Comcast. The most annoying thing about Dish is the fact that the service gets interrupted so easily by rain (and I've heard snow). It's happened 3 times in the first month.When I have called customer service they have been polite and helpful.If the service continues to be this good minus the rain and snow interruptions then I will consider this to be an excellent choice"

"The Dish technician was very professional and so accommodating. He answered all of our questions and was helpful through the whole process. After we were able to review the channels, I realized the channels I were expecting in my package were not available. "Not so great the sales department is the worst and the channel selection compared to comcast is pretty dreadful you have to pretty much buy every tier just to get basic channels. "So far it's been so-so. The guy who took my set up order messed up everything from my name to my email address. I had to get that worked out. The first guy who came to install didn't know what he was doing and argued with my dad-who has been a licensed electrician and builder for well over thirty years-about how to pull wire. The second man who came and actually did the install (and by the way, my dad had to dig the ditch for the pipe for the wire as well) was great. He was friendly and knowledgeable and made the install easy. After that I tried to sign up for an online account only for it to refuse because the last four of my ssn are apparently also incorrect un the system. That's another call. So far, I've had to work a lot harder then I planned just to watch the news. "

"Dish Network is the only provider in my neighborhood so it's not like I have much to compare them too. We all really like the Americas top 200, there's channels for EVERYBODY! It's great. As far as the service well, we have this huge cable running across our yard that is very noticeable that the satellite company should have buried.
