"After months of "negotiating" with our prior satellite company, I decided it was time to change. I found the techs at Dish knowledgeable and helpful. After spending a little time learning, I've decided the system is user friendly and easier than our previous system. I never had HD or DVR in every room with our prior company because of the cost to upgrade boxes. I can't compare these services. I can say that I love the Hopper and Dish offers everything I want at a lower cost. I'm very happy with our switch. "

"Well i did not think i would like it but it is grate. The guide is easy to use the dvr is realy nice. Lots of channles and theare not all the same. The HD is very nice.The internet is very good.Did not think it would work for online gameing but it has so far. The prossece of dealing with costermer service was a little scarry thay goofed up a couple of times but there were a couple of good agents who took care of the problems. The tech was great. So all in all now that i have it i love it. THANK YOU.."

"Once I ordered the DISH package the technician was out the next day to install. It was a Sunday and that was impressive to me. It took him from 12:30p - 4:30p to do everything. He forgot to do a couple things (seal a hole he made and the cable line is extra long and drooping in the basement), but not a big deal. We signed up on 1/12 and signed up with "automatic pay". By 1/26 i was already getting a text and phone call stating that my payment was due and wouldn't go through. Not sure why because I just had to pay almost $100 to start up the plan. When I called they said it was for the time used from when we started until 1/28 but the bill isn't due til 2/2. So why are they trying to pull my money now? and why did I have to pay $100 to start? Hopefully the billing part is straightened out..after our phone conversation. We have never had cable in the past and for having it now, i would say.....if you don't have to have cable, don't bother! there is a lot of garbage on tv and of the 120 channels i get, i only watch about 10 or less. but because we couldn't watch tv without the cable, then DISH had the cheapest rate, compared to other networks. So if the billing portion doesn't continue to give us issues....I WILL recommend DISH. "

"We had our Dish cable installed earlier this month. The technician arrived right on time and provided us excellent service and did a superior job installing our product. Our experience with Dish since then has been good. We had a minor issue with one of our receivers over heating and that problem was resolved very easily with a phone call. The only thing I do not care for with our service is the amount of channels in our guide that we do not watch but continually have to scan through to find a program that we want to see."

"New dish customer. I did not receive the package originally ordered. Many long phone calls, basically settled. Too frustrating to write about. The installer was polite, however, left a gauge in my entertainment set and used 10 screws in my son's bedroom. Before I could tell him to stop it was too late he had already drilled into the permanent wood panel wall. I'm too tired to fight. We just moved into our new home and have little time to shop around. In the mean time we will maintain dish until time allows for a change in service."

"We switched from regular cable and couldn't be happier. Our only concern was not wanting the dish installed on our house. All we had to do was ask and Dish was more than helpful in letting us know our options. The tech that came out to our home to install was professional, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable!! We absolutely love all of the options including DVR, Primetime anytime, Sirius xm channels, and the Hopper option. "It took the installers 10 hrs too install my service and get it working the first installer left for lunch and asked me too call him if something changed on my screen then when came back he still couldnt get it working he called in another guy too help him they both couldnt get it working so they called in another guy who finally got it working it was 10:30pm the first installer started at 8:30 am when i called dish to complain they told me they would take a whole $8 off my first bill because i was only out of service for 4hrs because it takes 5 hrs too install needless too say im very unhappy and come too find out after they got it working we can only watch three of the four tvs we have it on because u can only watch it on three tvs because one is mirrored unbelievable would not ever recomend this to anyone."

"I am happy with Dish TV, especially the DVR function. I was not happy when the company I called (IDish) charged me for setting up an account. I was never told there was going to be a charge and would have not signed with them had I known. Also, I found the website difficult to navigate as I thought I had signed up for automatic payments, but I had not. Had to go back in and take care of that later."

"we have had issues from day 1. i really don't think it is Dish's fault, but none the less we have had issues. we are bundled with Frontier and I believe the issues have all stemmed from them. They wrote the wrong orders, they didn't bundle us, they schedule service men from Frontier and Dish at the same time which didn't work well at all......just issues! We still have to get used to new channels and a different remote, but that will be fine. We were sad that Fox Sports weren't a part of our channel package."
