"There are costumer care personal that they haven't the slightest idea or doesn't have completely knowledge of subscriber's requirements. In my case I was about to cancel the whole installation . I asked the technician to be sure that I was going to get a predetermine channel that I wanted. He called c/c and they say "no". In the previous 2 days c/c told me I will get that channel, Well a said to the technician "call cancellations" because I do not want to have Dishnetwork without that channel. To my surprise the official in charge told me that the channel I requested was in my package. So ,bad moments I experience with inept people and I gave the "OK" to proceed with the installation. "

"overall my experience with dish has been very good except for my registration fee with a company called u/s dish which charges a fee for regeresting with you I feel there should be no fee since you want my business how ever your people dealt with this situation and I was very surprised how quickly they fixed this problemThe only other problem I have is with your menu guide I have the 250 package which includes most of your shows but when i scrole thru the guide ther are so many blank lines to scrole thru that it is kind of a pain to accualy get thru it to see what i accually want to watch This said would I recomend you to some one else yes The people that i have dealt with have been very good and I would rate them a ten Alex"

"Overall the picture quality is excellent. The way the channels are numbered all the way through the movie channels is better than Comcast, U-verse, and DirecTV. I've used all of them. The remote control button placement and size could use some real redesign. That should be #1 on their hardware interface list. Volume and channel selection should always be prominent buttons. The guide button should be easier to reach since the majority of people are right-handed, and this is coming from a lefty. The idea of an interface device is uniformity and intuitiveness. The remote fails on this with respect to the other cable/Sat providers."

"When I ordered I was asked what my favorite channels were I said diy,usa,tnt hallmark, Big Ten net work,and the major networks. they told me the best package for me was the 200 package. I do not have diy or the big ten network. so I find my viewing capabilities are lacking. I also find it irritating to not be able to record just the programs I want in prime time without recording all of them then deleting the ones I don't want. "

"First, my name has been spelled wrong since I first ordered my service. My name is "Shi." Second, I thought it was ridiculous that the Customer Service Rep signed me up for a contract & you all took the $$ from my account before determining if a dish could even be placed on an adequate spot on my property. Turns out, it could not. So the $$ had to be refunded to my acct & the contract cancelled. I would have loved to have this service, & I am disappointed that it was not able to happen."
