"Overall excellent package. Switched from direct tv so there were some adjustments, but nothing too difficult. Was initially provided with a vip612, but sling adapter is not compatible with that reciever. Called Dish and they exchanged the receiver with no penalties. The sling option works excellent."

"I have had dish network for a few weeks and so far so good. Below are the pros and cons that I have found so far. Cons: -I am still getting familiar with the menu and I do not like it so far. So far I think this is just a matter of getting used to the menu and the remote and all the functions; which takes time. -Not sure if it is my equipment or my settings, but I am not able to record on one dvr and watch the recording on the other dvr. Pros: -Lower cost for the same channels as my previous provider. -I have the Top 200 package which gives me the channels I want and not too many that I do not want. Compared to my previous provider I have fewer channels to sort through to find what I want to watch. Not as many shopping channels to skip to find the programs I want as compared to my previous provider. -The customer service so far has been really good. They have answered all my questions clearly and completely. -Installation went smoothly and cleanly; as someone who has done industrial electrical wiring its important to me that any wires that are seen are limited and not hanging loosely. They did NOT leave a rats nest of wires behind my TV. Thanks! Overall rating so far would be 4 of 5 stars. I discount one star for the remote and menu GUI. (sorry I just don't like the menu layout)"
