"I like the fact that you are only shown the channels you get, instead of going through all the extra channels only to want to watch something you aren't even able to, through the other cable people. The guy even took off the old dish and put this one on the old base without putting another whole in the roof! It's been about 2 weeks."

"I got a package deal to get the dish network and internet through frontier. I do not get the internet speed that that they told me about so please make sure what they say is really what you are going to get. I did not get the channels that I was to get. I am to get them on my next service visit yet to have. The service installer was not the best he was on the lazy side or just having a bad day. After a little time and another look at it he got the job done and did it great even having to bury the line like he had to with next to no damage to the lawn.I am happy with the dish minus the missing. Listen cafefully on everything the reference part too for the kick back."

"I have had dish in our home for about two weeks now. When I initially called to set up dish I must have talked the the constomer service rep for over an hour, wanting to make sure I understood everything do to this being a two year contract. The rep. appeared to be knowledgable and helpful. When the service man came to install we found out what I was told and what was possible were two different things. Under the smart pack with a basic dvr you can not downstream blockbuster through the satilite. It would have to be on line only. I new a 10 gig limit would not support movies when I set this up originally, so I was very specific about making sure it would be streamed through the satilite. I was also told blockbuster was like Netflix where I could choose what movie we were going to watch. Later, I found out that there are long lists to scroll through of movies and there was no way to type in, or pick a specific movie. Way too much of a pain so I cancelled that and went back to Netflix disks in the mail. I orginally ordered dish only for their internet availablility. I was hoping for unlimited but ended up with 10 gigs. We are still waiting for someone to come out and work on the internet because the router does not work for WIFI and the speed is .48mbps. The techs who come out to the home are exceptional, very knowledgable and helpful. The people at dish are not. Sometimes when I call I can not understand their English, and I usually get a different answer for everyone I talk to. One thing I can say is I love being able to watch The Blaze for $5 a month!"
