"I have enjoyed the network itself and not had any problems thus far with connectivity. However, there are some serious problems with the registration process. Because Dish can be bundled with a variety of internet providers, and because some Dish representatives are pure salespeople not working for the company, there is the potential for a lot of errors in the registration process and price quoting. I was quoted many different prices for my services, and I am still unsure of what I am supposed to be paying monthly. I have had to make numerous service calls to remedy the issues and bundle or unbundle services, and never once have the requests been executed correctly. Unfortunately, all cable providers are pretty terrible in this sense and Dish is the best of the worst."

"My first encounter with Dish was absolutely great! The installer was detailed knowledgeable and conscientious about keeping my floors protected. He made every effort and succeeded in adhering to my HOA rules. He offered products that would accomplish the media desires I expressed. This led to me purchasing products that provided the look and sound I was willing to pay thousands of dollars to get. With Dish I only paid a fraction of the cost with none of the destruction and headache. The second installer who installed my media products that I purchased from Dish was very competent and knowledgeable. He provided the same level of care and attention to detail. He made my family room look as if my entertainment was pre built by the builder. I would recommend Dish for all your entertainment needs!!!!"

"The installer was very nice, however he tacked the large orange cable over the white siding rather than going through the crawl space which would have eliminated its visibility. I am hoping this can be corrected during the permanent install. The dish explorer app crashes often and it is disappointing that you can't control all functions on the remote with the app and that you need to have more than one app. The movies on the blockbuster feature are minimal and very old so I don't see this as having valuable service. We calso can't seem to download any tv shows from on demand, only movies. "

" This is my first time with Dish as my cable company !! I have only had it for a week and honestly havent watched much tv yet. I have just moved to the area and am very busy moving into my new home. But Dish was here promptly, set everything up for me and was very patient. The previous owner had the Dish in the front of the house and i had asked them if they could move it,,,they did without hesitation and put it on the roof, whih i thought was a much better location for it. They also had to run cables hither, tither and yon and into a room that hadnt had a hookup before and they did such a wonderful and professional job. This is the kind of service i wish other companies had. They also have called since then to make sure all was going the way it should. It was a pleasure doing business with Dish of NC. "I had the pleasure of having Peter install my dish. He was absolutely awesome. I have not received such great customer service in a very long time, if ever. We just moved in to our new home and originally ordered DirectTV. We were very unhappy and cancelled it after 1 day. We decided to go with Dish. When Peter came we had some problem with our electric switching over and we actually had no power. We also had some trouble with having the capability to use the hopper along with our cable internet. Peter contacted a dish sales rep and got me set up with options and pricing for other options, which turned out to be great! Peter then took down our DirectTV Dish and then installed everything with a head lamp on since we had no power. He then ran a power cord from our neighbors to test the units. All of this inconvenience had Peter stuck at our new townhouse for 3 HOURS! He was there with a smile and very helpful the entire time! I will most likely stay with Dish as long as I can in the future just because of him. He deserves something for this, unfortunately he probably will never hear this compliment."

The Sling doesnt always work on our wireless devices and we wish there was a way to view the guide by categories. For example if I'm looking for children's programs, I'd like to be able to choose this as a category. Or movies, etc, instead of having to go channel by channel and see what's playing. "

"Quit wasting time shopping around for TV providers. I strongly urge you to just contact DISH Network and you will be completely satisfied. DISH has the best quality and great customer support. But what's even better is their HD reception. It's like almost watching TV in 3D without a 3D TV! One reson is because you are receiving your signal directly from DISH's satellites. The signal is not converted, multi-plexed or anything else like "Cable Companies". We have had some severe weather recently over a several day period and only lost signal once which lasted for maybe 10 seconds. DISH means quality. Quality being the best installation, reception, package choices, price and customer care/support. I contemplated on changing from cable to DISH or DirecTV for two years. Basically I wasted two years of high prices, rate increases and multiple service problems/outages from my former cable company. And by the way, DirecTV wasn't even able to provide a signal meaning they weren't able to provide service unless the dish was placed on the pitch of the roof of my house and would even have to drill holes in my roof to mount the dish. I'm not one to introduce and aid in water damage that could cost $$$$ when the roof would eventually start leaking. DISH Network was able to not only get great signal but was able to install the dish on the ground in a conspicuous location. Thank you DISH Network from an extremely satisfied customer!"

"I originally started with Dish Family (I think) where you have like 120 channels. But a couple weeks later (I think 2 to be exact) I upgraded to America's Top 200. Me and my lady are very satisfied right now. Best package for the price in our area. They beat Time Warner with this deal by 18 bucks a month when promotion price expires. I did think it was a little cheesy that you had to set up auto pay in order to receive a discount that they advertise as if you get for just being a customer. And for that I rate this 4 stars. Other than that I'm very satisfied with the service. "

"I never had anything but cable until my moved at my current resident. Dish so far is working out good. The only thing I wish is that they wouldn't have such a mix-up TV guide menu. I wish they would put them in catagories. Plus to have a pkg of so call 120 channels and at least 35 are music ones, 10/15 shopping/info com, & VOD channels. In reality you really are only getting approx 35-40 TV show channels. I just WISH they would put them in order so that you only have to scroll the part of memu you are interested in. "
