"My service took about a week to set up after I scheduled an installation appointment, when nobody showed up on my appointment date I became suspicious (Sunday). On Monday after I had gone to work someone had showed up to install, nobody was home because I didn't schedule for that time because of work. I called dish and set up a new appointment, again the person didn't show but showed up the next morning and made me late for work When I called about all of this everyone passed me off on the phone, I got passed around like a volley ball and nobody had answers for me, also the hard drive on my dvr box has crashed but they don't want to send a tech, they want me to trouble shoot it myself with them on the phone except I can't talk on my cell phone inside of my apartment....I'm more than likely going to cancel my service unless they do something to keep me as a happy customer, so far I haven't seen them wanting to keep my business"

"dealing with dish telephone support has been overall a good experience. Those assisting have been courteous and helpful. Everything was done in a timely fashion including installation. The only problem has been that I am a Canadian and my installation was for my weekend getaway place in the us. As I have no us sin number, I had difficulties qualifying for the package that was advertised and had to settle for something more expensive as well as pay additional hookup charges. Can I suggest that you find other ways to retrieve a credit rating for non us citizens seeking dish e.g I have paid municipal taxes in new York for 3 years as well as hydro bills. "

"I have had a plethora of problems with this company since day 1. I have been forced to pay for service that doesn't come in as well as wait weeks for repairs. They repeatedly get appointment times wrong and expect me to miss work on weekdays do they can repair the receiver. When I do find someone to be here for the appointments the technician was extremely late beyond the 4 hour window they give you. I would never reccimebd this service to anyone. It's the worst service I've ever had from any company. "
