"Just got dish and didn't have internet at the time of install since moving to the new house. The installer told me that as soon as I get I could call in to hook it up but when I called to do that the rep told me I needed a WiFi adapter and I would be charged 25 for it. He did end up sending it to me free of charge but the confusion and delay has started my experience on not such a good note . I even got on the chat online for dish and rep gave me a bogus link. Other than customer service the channels afe great but haven't gotten to use my hopper to its full capabilities. "

"Dish is great thus far. It exceeds what our old cable could do (love the hopper!). We do wish however, that the Red Zone was included in our package so we could enjoy more on Sundays, but will consider upgrading. I also wish when we did order movies, we could view them from the beginning instead of having to wait until the next start time (kind of like going to see a movie in a theater I suppose, but would like it to be more "on demand"). "We haven't had time to watch much TV yet [its only been a week] but the installation was a pleasure which is something we have not said before. The technician was polite, knowledgable and did an immaculate job of putting the cable in. He communicated beforehand about when he would arrive and communicated throughout the project. He even helped set up our DVD player. When I called Dish, a live person answered and was very helpful. So far, so good!"

"I am the typical consumer... Very easy to please, don't complain and don't mind paying more money for a good product (but don't want to get taken advantage of either.) Tired of cable, I decided to try satellite. My first call was actually to the competitor, DirecTV. Two minutes into the call, I learned how terrible and inappropriate their customer service agents were. I immediately told them I wouldn't be needing their services after all, and called DISH. I was so pleased by the agents I got the privilege to talk to. Not only were they knowledgeable, but they communicated effectively and most importantly, politely. I felt like my business mattered to this company and that I wasn't just another number or sale. I am pleased and am sure that even if something happened that I needed resolved, that their CSR team would work hard to make sure I was happy. Thanks DISH!"
