"After having horrible service and getting no good help with Comcast my boyfriend and I switched to DISH and we love it! The men on the phone who helped us set up our service were very friendly and knowledgeable. We both felt very comfortable in making our decision because the customer service was so helpful. Today we upgraded to the Top 250 package and when I called customer service I didn't have to wait to speak someone and the person was very quick and helpful and explained what our bill would look like. We love dish and it is a great price for a couple just starting out especially since we were eligible for many free offers for the first year!"

"So far I am happy with my service. Only lost signal once for a minute or two so no big deal. Was a little dissapointed to find out I could not get a clear signal for HD, so I am stuck with 3 HDTVs with SD programming. Other than that, customer service has been pretty good."

"I was a comcast cable loyalist for more than 20 years. However, do to the change in our economics, we were forced to seek a cheaper form of viewing our favorite programs. My experience with Dish has been nothing but favorable! The Dish family has been nothing but nice! I have spoken to several different people, and have come to expect someone wanting to make things better! This was totally unexpected! People who are happy to work for their company. Not to mention that I have all the channels that I wanted and more! I am very happy with the change, and hope to be a 20+ years loyal customer of Dish!"

"Excellent service from the first phone call to the install everything was excellent. The customer service operator was polite and kind. I felt like I mattered to him. I didn't feel like just another customer. He asked me lots of questions and made sure I was happy with what I was getting. "I would never suggest dish to anyone. In only one week I've had to have three techs come to my home to fix the receiver. While calling the customer service reps don't listen to you having to repeat yourself numerous times. Then have the nerve to ask you to take a survey to rate their performance. I'm not happy with dish, the low monthly payments are not worth the headache and time you need to take off of work for tech visits. "

"I have enjoyed Dish very much. I am very disappointed in the fact that I had no idea I was dealing with a subcontractor "idish" when I signed up, they charged me $50 for the service, and also signed me up with mytechhelp.com saying I needed this paid service for problems, leading me to believe Dish had no technical service available. I feel like I was decieved, leaving me with a bad opinion of the whole deal. The installer was excellent, and my dealing with the "real" dish company has been OK. "

"I have had the dish network now for two weeks. When I ordered the service everything was peaches. The instalation went very smooth and he installer did a great job. Now after two weeks of switching around and becoming familiar with the hopper and programing offered by dish, I feel I can give an educated review. I was somewhat dissapointed in the programing when it is raining hard. I lost service for six hours straigh during a rain storm the other day. Very dissapointing. The blockbuster free trial does not work with my current internet connection. When I called dish to get help with this situtation, the customer service reprisentative was incredibly rude and very condesending to me because I am not savy with technology. I felt completely descriminated by him when he hung up the call on me. He pretended to switch me over to another department and instead disconnected the call. I am also very annoyed by all of the channels that are no longer available due to financial disagreements between dish and the networks. Had I known all of this before signing up for two years, I would have gone elsewhere. I do like the DVR performance I also like the Channel Lineup Guide I also like the picture quality I like the hopper volume adjustment feature "
