"When I was cosidering the change I was leary because I had Satelite approximately 15 yrs ago. When I had it every storm whether it be a rain storm or a major storm we would lose the signal. Now since I had it we had two storms and no interuption in service. Not only that Satelite is saving me $55 dollars a month. In this economy who wouldn't want that?"

"Just had Dish installed. Took them forever to get an installer out but the service seems good. Comes in clear and doesn't go out during rain. Good price compared to other rip offs like charter and direct tv. for 34.99 its worth it. I was paying 90.00 a month with charter. If they start raising prices I won't hesitate to look for better options like fios. "

"I was debating this service for months and months and months. I wish I didn't wait so long! I get all the channels that I like and the reception is wonderful. I also have never had a DVR receiver with any other service that I have used in the past and I am really enjoying it. "The quality of the picture is great! When they came in to set up they were very nice and explained all my new featers. One thing I do wish is that they told me I needed a wireless attachment so I could use the blockbuster that I got free for 3months. I guess I won't be using that featcher. That is my only con if u have to get a netgear wirless reciver the sales person should tell u that or ask so u can get it all set up at once and not have to order one from dish or buy one after u all ready have your stuff installed. But the service and quality of the picture is good. Thank you"

"The installer did a good job, the cable channels work fine, It's the local channels that are an issue, actually one local channel. There is no ABC network in our area. Tried to get it with an OTA antenna but no luck. They advertise you will have your local channels, but somehow ABC got left out of the mix No Good Morning America and Diane Sawywer at night :("
