"Although Dish missed our appointment window, the representative did call to let us know he was running late. Considering that this was an install, I was disappointed that they did not keep their stated appointment time but happy that they at least kept me informed. Since the tech arrived 20 minutes late, they sent a second worker to speed up the process. The install itself was pretty painless and they did their best to work quickly since they showed up after 5PM."

"Have had dish now for about 3 weeks and my family and I love it. I still can't understand why I didn't make the switch from cable sooner. Several years ago while watching the Super Bowl and expieriencing a snow storm as well we lost our cable connection and too say the least my husband was about to go crazy. Thankfully we were saved by our neighbor with dish service. Turned out too be a nice Sunday evening after all! thank too dish..."

"I was very impressed with how I was treated. I made a great choice. From the word go , the gentleman that helped sign me up , Kenny, was amazing , he went the extra mile to make sure my needs were met and even chatted about family etc which was great !! All the documents arrived in my email a few minutes after that and I was rest assured I made the right choice! Even the Installer came to my home at night , dark and cold outside and he was up on the roof installing, he even showed my kids how to work the remotes :) And was very respective and did the job in no time. Well done Dish , you are doing a fantastic job and service :)"

"The day of the install, i was disappointed in the technician. Unfortunately, he was very short and rude. Initially, we were very satisfied with the channels as well as the free options(specifically the game channel). A day later several channels became unavailable and some where under maintanence. For example the game channel after maintanence was no longer free. So unfortunately we have not been very satisfied but hope that will change. "

"Dish offers lower prices but it doesn't compare to Comcast and its standard on demand....to get something like on demand you have to get dvr and by that time you might as well pay for Comcast. Lets not forget the signal going in and out. Too bad I'm locked in a contract =/ "

"I did not hook up to the Dish service after the technicians initial visit. He seemed very confused concerning the was the present cable service accessed my 2 story home. The service enters my attic for the 2nd floor TV's and the basement for the 1st floor TV's. This makes perfect sense to me. When he looked at the cable wires in my basement and attic he kept saying the the wires were not the right ones for sattelite and he was concerned about the reception. My reply was then just replace them. He acted like this was not an option. He then wanted to place the dish on a pole directly in front of my dining room window. I have casement windows that open outward so that would not have worked. He then agreed to place the dish on my roof, but said he would have to knock holes into my brick to gain access to the rooms. I was very skeptical of the technicians knowledge or ability to hook the service up. He was very friendly and did offer to send another tech to offer his opinion. By this time I was too discussed and canc the service. I spent 1 1/2 hrs on the phone on my original call for the service and then over a hour and a half with the technician to no avail."
