"As a past customer i knew to expect good quality telivision. When i told the sales rep how i was using my unlimited mobile hotspot to watch netflix and wanted the net package for faster speed he sold me on how great a deal it was. I have used over 26 gigs on my phone this month for $30 extra on my cell phone. I a now paying $50 for 5 gigs (normal human awake time) on my dish plan which i never would have agreed to if the sales rep was honest. Good tv. Dont waste your time on net service unless you can afford to throw money away. Giant rip off."

"Firstly I was not happy with the hopper/Joey system. When I 1st signed up I was told my 3rd TV in our guest cottage would not have interference from other TVs, this was not true. They omitted to say if I recorded 2 shows then only one other channel could be watched on both the other TVs, I finally straightened this out & was meant to have a tech come yesterday to change the equipment but no one showed up after I waited a good 5 hours at my house. I did not receive any calls to cxl & each time I called Dish I was told he was still going to come!!! After calling 5 times I have now been given an appointment over a week from now. All in all terrible service so far. Hopefully it can only get better."

"We switched from Time warner cable to save some extra money every month and it looked like the dvr system would be better but it isnt, dont get me wrong it is great to be able to have whole house dvr but u can not watch tv on all three tvs if you plan on recording ANYTHING!!!! it is so frustrating. if this doesnt change then when our contract is up we will be switching back!!!!!"

"I called the DISH customer service 2 days before a holiday weekend; to my surprise we had the dish installed with no problems. The service man was very efficient and knew his job! We enjoyed the great selection of channels on the rainy days of our vacation. We have been without any tv for 4 years at our vacation cottage in W. Kennebunk, Maine. I hesitated to get a dish, because I heard about possibility of losing connection during storms. During a tornado warning storm, of heavy winds and rain, we never lost connection and the picture was crystal clear! I wish that I had called DISH a long time ago!! Thank you!"
