".....Programming seems good, although the analog channels appear much more fuzzy than they did with DirecTV. I find the remote extremely confusing and cannot figure out how to find thing in the ON Demand. I know the guy showed me the day it was hooked up but I cant figure it out now. DO NOT like the one channel with extensions for the Satellite Radio stations.. And the installer was supposedly going to take down my old dish up on the roof but did not do so, So now I have two dishes on my house."

"I have only recently purchased dish. Everyone was very helpful, from purchase to set-up. Oliver Keeling was flexible with times when setting up my dish. He talked with me during each step of setup. Before he left, he went through some common sets with the remote and dvr. He answered all my questions thoroughly and was very knowledgeable. "My experience as a dish customer has been positive. Immediately after install I was able to enjoy watching my new dish set up. Its user friendly, and I can RECORD! I used to have "the other guys" but got rid of 'em because their prices just kept going up and the service was ify at best. BTW, I only go 4 stars simply because I think it takes a while to attain a five star status. So far, DISH has delivered. My time is important to me so if I'm going to spend it watching TV, I want it to work..So far, so good."

"I signed up for dish because it was the best deal I could find in my circumstances (I couldn't get out of my internet without paying a penalty). I was supposed to get 3 months of Blockbuster @Home and 6 months of the sports package for free, both of which I had to inquire about. The former, I chatted online and they gave it to me. The latter I was looking for NFL Red Zone on Sunday during games and I didn't have it. I bought it through the receiver because I didn't want to waste time on the phone and miss anything. I called later and it is now taken care of. One other thing is that the Big Ten Network was threatening a blackout for Dish and so far, Dish has made the correct decision. Can't beat good customer service!"

"I am disappointed in the channels. There seems to be a lot of channel repeats and so many of the channels are selling something. When I think of 120 channels, I think entertainment. If I had known this was how it was going to be...I don't think I would have gone this route. "

"I think it's allright. I just wish there weren't so many news and infomercial channels. I could live with about 15-20 channels that we actually use all the time, and you can get rid of the rest; or let me pay for the channels I accually use.I do use the DVR quite often. The other issue is the static from the receiver to the TV upstairs is very noticable when you turn the TV on, sometimes it goes away and sometimes not. I would rate a 6.5 now.I will say that the installer was informative and friendly."
