"Excellent. Vince, the installer, was very professional, thorough. He was careful installing not to damage furniture or equipment. He gave understandable instructions in regard to installing the dish, then once he was finished, he gave thorough, detailed instructions how to use the remote control. "I have only had the service for less than a month, but it's been good. I had some issues with the remote but they sent a technician out and the problem was fixed! I love that I can watch recorded movies on either tv (I have two). The only downside, is that whatever tv is recording at the moment, you cannot change that channel. However, I only have one receiver. I guess you get what you pay for. I'm also loving the movie channels for 3 months for free. I just wish that could last longer. The picture has never given any problems, but I've not had it long. All in all, I give it 4 stars and I'd recommend it."

"Most days the dish service cuts off and it is unreliable. The screen can go blank for hours . I try to restart it and it only works for a couple of hour then it shuts out . If you as a new customer is reading this DO NOT USE DISH IT SUCKS . I have no choice i am stuck with this sucky service for two yrs. and after one yr it will go up , just like the tv commercial , their prices goes up and up and up . Please do your research you will find out dish is not good . Don't get stuck like me . I would not recommend dish to one because of my experiance with dish ."

"The process for sucribing has been easy and the installation worked very well. I am still not understanding the way the billing is done. When I asked AT&T for the U Verse package, they offered the lternate solution with Didh because the TV Service was not available here.The TV cost should have been 54.95 plus taxes, including the DVR and HD plus a second decoder( which I was obviously expecting to be HD). I am actualy paying $5 more tham told. In addition, AT&T told me that the agreement was for 2 years, dish told me later on that it was for 1 year, I do expect that the initial commitment will be held. The description of the service shoud indicate which service quality is offered on the HD channel: 1080 or 720. In my opinion it is 720 because the over the air channels indicating the 1080 definition offer a higher picture quality. Otherwise, the expectations I had on the service are fine."

"The installation of our dish tv went very well. The technician was able to place the dish in an acceptable location without drilling holes through my newly shingled roof. The picture is very clear and the HD service is perfect. We haven't set up the streaming blockbuster yet but expect to do that this weekend. The technician was even early for the appointment!!! My only negative comment would be that the technician had a very heavy island accent and was very hard to understand. But he was excellent at his job. Thank you for excellent service from start to finish. The registration and install process were easy and painless and are saving me a ton of money vs my service from comcast. "

"The conversion to Dish TV was the worst decision I ever made. The order was screwed up right from the first. Installation date was wrong, receiver was wrong, premium channels I didnt want but got was wrong, Blockbuster I didn't want but got was wrong. Too many different people and phone numbers and departments to contact. I was told I would get local news - wrong again. I can't. I would not ever refer anyone to Dish TV."

"We have been with Dish for a couple months. The Multi Sport pakage was an extra we were looking forward to, but it seems, that the broadcasters have practically muted the benifit by blocking so many sporting events. Te football isn't going to be active until September, but we were hoping for more baseball since the advertising for the package points out that MLB is included. (just not very much of it) Other than that gripe, the Dish reception is brilliant, clear and the 120+ program offers quite a bit. We have enjoyed a couple first rate current movies and love the DVR, a first for us. "
