"The service is pretty good. The channels that are crystal clear are great. The only thing I can't stand is the automatic picture size provided by Dish. You can't get it perfectly synced to the size of your T.V. Well mine won't. I don't like seeing the black margins are the edges of the screen. The DVR is sweet, my wife is packing it up. "I had Directv for @10 years and the service has been getting worse and more expensive everyday. The installer for Dish (Tony)came at the exact time he told me when he called earlier in the day. "I'm getting a smokin' deal for the next year, I can downgrade my package after that so as not to shock my budget, and the installation was really smooth! The only problem that I have is that I'll be scrolling through the "on demand" shows/movies and the whole system will just SHUT DOWN. The box will just power off completely. It takes a good 5 minutes for everything to come back to where I started. I haven't called about it yet, and I'm not super upset by it. Overall, I'm very excited about having "cable" again for the first time in about 9 months. Dish came through."

"I have only been a customer to Dish for a month now, but so far I am satisfied. Any question I have had has been answered thoroughly through the customer service phone line. Set up was quoted about a 2-5 hour wait, but it only took an hour! The only downsides are that the delay between switch channels is a little long and the Sirius musice channels won't stream, however that could be because of my location. "
