Letterman Stirs Up Controversy with Palin Family

During a recent episode of the “Late Show with David Letterman,” Letterman’s Top Ten List included several sexual jokes that were aimed towards Alaska Governor Sarah Palin’s teenage daughters. As to be expected, these remarks did not fly with the Palin family. In response to Letterman’s ‘inappropriate’ statements, Palin has fired back on various television outlets, including Fox News Channel. Palin has suggested that Letterman’s jokes encourage “acceptance of abuse of younger women.” In the world of entertainment, all news is good news when it comes to TV ratings. It is likely that the jokes will keep on coming, as long as the Palin family keeps fueling the flame.
