Feast On An NFL Triple Header On Thanksgiving Day | Save Room For Some Football!

Football is as much of Thanksgiving Day traditions as turkey and candied yams. The major TV networks don’t disappoint this year, showcasing three exciting must-watch games. Be sure to check out the fast-paced NFL coverage with DISH Network TV sports.

You can sleep in and still catch the first game (12:30 ET). FOX will air the matchup between the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers. Meeting in Detroit, the game is the 19th time these two teams have squared off on Thanksgiving. Exciting NFL action and access to great sports coverage is always available on DISH Network channels.

The afternoon game features the love ‘em or hate ‘em Oakland Raiders as they travel to Dallas, Texas to battle the Cowboys. This is the first time in 39 years that the California bad boys have made the trek out to cowboy country. CBS airs the game at 4:15 pm ET.

Be sure not to over-do it with the turkey. You’ll want to be wide awake for game three! Starting at 8:20pm ET on the NFL Network, the New York Giants play the Denver Broncos in Colorado. The Broncos suffered their first loss of the season just last weekend (the Baltimore Ravens swooped in to give the Denver team a good beating). We’ll see what the Giants can do against this worthy rival in their primetime battle.
