Colts Carry On Without Dungy

31 August, 2009

Are Colts fans concerned about the team’s performance now that Coach Tony Dungy has stepped down from the helm? If they have faith in Peyton Manning, they shouldn’t be.

Everyone’s favorite QB Peyton Manning has expressed great optimism about his team’s ability to forge successfully ahead without Dungy’s direction from the sideline. While their former coach will be greatly missed, Manning points out that Tony’s presence and influence will still be felt, and seems truly confident in Coach Caldwell’s principles.

Along with a good number of loyal NFL fans, Peyton is slightly curious about Dungy’s decision to go the broadcasting route. Nonetheless, it will be nice to see his familiar face on Sundays (even if it’s not passing on winning directives to the Colts).
