It’s a boy for pop music diva, Cher! Former daughter Chastity (her dad was the late singer/comedian/Politian Sonny Bono) has undergone a sex change (aka ‘gender reassignment’) surgery and is now Mr. Chaz Bono.

Recent pics of the newly transformed celebrity offspring, Chaz Bono, show a very happy, healthy looking guy. He really looks younger than his 40 years. He’s been quoted as saying that he “always felt male” and has openly discussed the long and thoughtful process he considered well before undergoing surgery.
Chaz has been dating girlfriend Jennifer Elia for 4 years. Jennifer, who apparently used to be a lesbian, has supported Chaz throughout the process of his surgeries. Resources say the couple couldn’t be happier. Celebrity mom Cher has been just as supportive of her son, saying that her love for her child (no matter what gender) is unconditional. If I had Cher for a mom, I’m not sure I’d want to be a woman either. Even in her old age, she’s pretty hot. That’s a lot of femininity to live up to!
Kelly Oz Keeps Dancing With The Stars
Week 6 of the celebrated TV program, 'Dancing With The Stars' finds Ozzie and Sharon Osbourne's lovely little girl, Kelly, still dancing away. Although she didn't make the top 3 this week, Kelly is still a viable contender and continues to impress. Fans just love her, even if judges don't always concur!
Alas, Michael, Louie, Melissa and, yes, Kelly were the first four tapped out of the competition. Now it's up to the home viewers to decide who's really out and off the show. Tonight we have double elimination, so the lowest scorers will face the judges in a quick, impromptu dance-off.
Who took top honors in last night's performances? Aaron Carter got Len's vote; the judge said the waltz was his best dance, prizing him with three 9's. He and Karina ended up in 3rd place after their Mambo. Mya and Dmitry took second, dancing first an energetic Jitterbug and then the Mambo. Up in first were Joanna and Derek. They went with the waltz as their first dance too and really wowed everyone on the panel. DISH TV always delivers the best in satellite entertainment!
My Antonio or Brooke's Antonio? |Soap Opera Super Hunk Sabato Makes His VH1 Pick
Soap Opera super hunk and former Calvin Klein model, Antonio Sabato, Jr. selected love-contestant Brooke Barlow on the finale of his relationship showdown, ‘My Antonio.’ The show aired on VH1 and DISH Network last evening.
Makeup artist Miranda Reinfeldt was weeded out on the last episode. No doubt her anxiety attack and general meltdown during their second to last interaction (a helicopter tour over the Hawaiian islands) didn’t help her bid for the adventurous star’s affection.
Brooke appeared as elegant, enthusiastic, sophisticated, fun and intelligent. Employed as a nurse (really? She seems nothing like Nurse Ratchet or Misery’s Kathy Bates), Barlow looked, and behaved, as if she could be paired with royalty. She also bears a striking resemblance to Sabato’s ex, Virginia Madsen, with whom he has one son, Jack Antonio. The Italian actor also has a six year old daughter, Mina Bree, born to longtime girlfriend Kristin Rosetti (the couple broke up in 2007 after a six year partnership).
The inside scoop says the Roman-born Sabato (he became a U.S. citizen in the 90’s) and Brooke didn’t last long after the show stopped filming. The winner is quoted as saying they ‘didn’t have much to talk about.’ Antonio Jr. has not yet commented. On the last show, Sabato’s mom asked him, “Do you want to know who I think you should pick?” He answered in the negative. I, however, am terribly curious if Yvonne would have gone with Brooke or the more timid Miranda or, possibly, neither one. Maybe the real Mrs. Sabato will make her opinion known yet. She didn’t strike me as the type to keep things to herself for long.
It's Pie In The Sky For Soupy Sales |TV Comedian Dies At 83
Years before Gallagher ever smashed his first watermelons, or teen comedies made us laugh with a food fight, TV comedian Soupy Sales perfected the entertaining art of pie throwing. Sales once said he’d been hit by an estimated 25,000 pies in his lifetime.
Voted most popular boy in school, he was always light-hearted and engaging. Serving in the Navy in WWII, he entertained crewmates, never letting the rigors of war get him down for long. After his discharge, he went to college to study journalism and worked in broadcasting, stand up comedy, radio and script writing before getting his big break on TV. Sales passed away this week at age 83. He was hospitalized in the Bronx, suffering from various age-related ailments.
Lucky thing we can catch reruns of the retro comedies on DISH network TV! These classic programs never get old. This slapstick entertainer and his live television show, ‘The Soupy Sales Show’ earned an enthusiastic band of fans in the mid-50’s and 60’s. The program ran for over a decade, being syndicated in the U.S. and overseas.
Puppets and off-camera characters rounded out the show’s cast with its playful parade of puns and corny camp. Guests loved getting in on the pie-in-the-face gag, with celebrities Frank Sinatra, Tony Curtis, Sammy Davis Jr. and Mickey Rooney amongst the group that happily had a pie tossed in their face.
No doubt Soupy’s got ‘em rolling in Heaven’s aisles now.
