DISH Network Packages Score Big with NFL Playoff Coverage | Colts and Saints Head to Super Bowl
So what did you watch on TV this weekend? If you weren't locked in a cave, and did have electricity in your home, there's a good chance you caught some of the NFL playoffs. Thank goodness for all the great sports channels available in the DISH Network packages.
Being a big Colts fan, I was happy to see Indianapolis get the Jet's number by half-time and hold NY to the 17 points the acquired in the first two quarters. The Colts cantered away with a relatively easy win. Kudos to the Jets for flying this far in the season. It was an impressive effort and they're sure to be a force to be reckoned with in the 2010/11 season (thanks to Sanchez).
Now, about the Saints and Vikings match up…while I'm not a rabid fan for either team, I had a feeling the Saints would take the victory. Anyone has to feel a bit of sympathy for the eternally retiring Brett Farve (Favre?); the poor guy spent more time in the dirt than a corpse. Where was the rest of the team? Isn't it someone's job (anyone?) to give the quarterback a bit of protection?
The Colts and Saints will vie for the big title in a couple of weeks when they meet up at the Super Bowl. We're looking forward to the DISH TV coverage in our house. May the best team win! That 2010 ring is going to look great on Peyton.
The Latest News on DISH Satellite TV | John Edwards Admits to Fathering Illegitimate Child
While the John Edwards affair was widely publicized some time ago, DISH Network packages now deliver news programs that feature clips of the disgraced politician admitting to being the baby daddy of Quinn Hunter.
The little girl, age two, is the daughter born to Edwards' ex-mistress, Reille Hunter. Thank goodness we have TV satellite feeds to beam the latest details of public discretions right into our homes! It almost makes it seem like such things are any of our business.
Undoubtedly wife Elizabeth Edwards welcomes the opportunity to deal with even more public shame and intimate heartbreak. What better distraction from terminal cancer could anyone ask for?
Having satellite TV is always a reliable way to keep informed on the latest news and trends. Be sure you connect with quality satellite TV receivers from DISH TV to bring current events into your television set as soon as they happen.
NFL Football Playoffs Top Most-Watched Programming | Tune into DISH TV to Catch Your Games
Sports fans are taking over the televised airwaves as the NFL football playoffs top the most-watched charts. DISH network offers customers plenty of opportunities to tune into NFL action. It looks like regularly scheduled programming and other TV specials can't quite compete with the big draw of pro football.
There was once a time when football drew in men only. The guys would dominate the TV sets any time pro sports were on and women and children were relegated to other rooms and assorted non-sporting pasttimes.
These days the NFL fan base includes both genders and numerous demographics. Football fans can be found across the nation, and this fact is evident as viewership rankings show the popularity that the NFL playoffs have exercised over pretty much all other program categories. Make sure your DISH TV package includes countless sports networks and exciting athletic programming!
The TV networks that have been lucky enough to nab an opportunity to air any of the playoff games are sure to enjoy an increase in ratings through the rest of the month. Go team!
