Goldberg Fired - Donald Trump Fires Bill Goldberg From Apprentice
Wrestler Bill Goldberg became the seventh celebrity to bite the dust on Donald Trump’s The Celebrity Apprentice on NBC and DISH Network.
Here’s the deal with the Goldberg firing. He was the project manager of a three-person team, “Rocksolid,” that wound up losing to a five-person team, “Tenacity,” on Sunday night’s two-hour broadcast. As always, Trump places the blame for failure squarely on the shoulders of the person in charge. Hence, Goldberg is out of the Board Room and back in the Square Circle.
Goldberg agreed with the firing, basically saying that he was the boss of a team whose project came up short. “I take full responsibility for my team losing,” said Goldberg after being eliminated. What a good sport!
You can follow all of the drama and high-stakes tension of The Celebrity Apprentice on NBC with one of many great DISH Network packages. Who will be the next celebrity fired by Trump? Tune in and see!
The Repo Men Want More Than Your TV
Winston Roth
Have you ever been late on your credit card, utility, or any other bills? You know the companies will be after you and hounding you to get those payments in on time. Imagine you’re in this situation. You had an organ transplant; the organs were manufactured and supposed to be top-notch, functioning machines to replace your failing organs. You’re on a payment plan to pay for this organ, but you’re late, a little over 90 days late. This is where The Repo Men come in.
Jude Law and Forest Whitaker star in this action-packed film where they are actual workers for the “Union” that sell the manufactured organs, and they repossess the organs from those that are late on their monthly payments. Sure the people have the option to go to a hospital to have it done, but only after they have been shot with a taser-gun by the Repo Men. So basically you could have your organs taken back from the Union in the middle of a street, during a meeting, or right in your own home without anesthesia.
This movie is not for the faint-of-heart if you get squirmy about seeing bodies being cut open. Just make sure you keep current with your payments on your bills, and you’ll be just fine. Catch these celebrities on other movies on DISH Network that don’t include repossessing organs.
China Earthquake - Earthquake Kills Dozens In China
The earthquake struck southeast of Golmud, a town of about 130,000 on the Tibetan plateau, best known as the site of the world’s largest salt lake. Early news reports out of China said that 90 percent of the homes in the area had collapsed, but schools and government buildings had largely remained standing. So far the death toll is about 1,000.
Last August, Golmud was hit by a 6.2 magnitude earthquake that destroyed dozens of homes but caused no deaths. The area is a melting pot of Tibetans, Mongols, Chinese, and is adjacent to Sichuan Province, where more than 87,000 people died in a powerful earthquake in 2008.

Diary Of A Wimpy Kid - Valuable Life Lessons
In “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” little Greg Heffley had some really important lessons to learn and apply to his life in middle school. This entertaining movie wasn't just about an education in values for Greg, it also teaches the audience a thing or two.
This movie was a good one for adults and kids. It definitely brought back memories of dealing with the cliques in middle school. It’s kind of an awkward stage for kids. You’re trying to do everything you can to fit in with some group in the middle school realm. Greg seemed to have a much higher opinion of himself than others. It’s good for kids to have a high self-esteem, but Greg took it a notch higher, enter: ego.
Greg learns some vital lessons from his experiences that include losing his best friend, being beat in a wrestling tournament by the supposed wimpiest kid in school, and being faced to choose between right or wrong. He learns that no matter how popular or unpopular you are in school, it’s going to be completely different out in the real world after all the school plays, dances, and proms are over. It’s not going to be a game of popularity, it’s going to be a game of survival.
DISH Network offersother great children's programming that specializes in driving important messages and values home on great channels like Nickelodeon.
