Despicable Me A Must See

26 July, 2010

There are quite a few animated films that have been released this year that have been great hits at the box office, but if you haven’t seen “Despicable Me”, it is highly recommended that you add it to your “movies-to-see” list.

Steve Carell is the voice of the evil Dr. Gru, the despicable man who has only wanted to be accepted, and what better way to do that than to turn to a life of villainy? After a new and fresh villain, Vector, has proved to be competition for Gru, a plan starts to brew in the mind of Gru, and he utilizes his hilarious yellow minions and his assistant, Dr. Nefario to help him with his plot. In addition to these mini yellow minions, he adopts three children from an orphanage run by a wicked, sweet-voiced, nightmarish girl-scout woman, Miss Hattie.

This movie is filled with entertainment for both the kids and adults with slapstick humor (especially when the difficult-to-hear Dr. Nefario misinterprets Gru’s evil inventions and creates what he thought Gru told him to create) galore. The minions will have you giggling and laughing out loud with their helium-like mumblings and Gru’s invincible, bullet-like vehicle will have you wishing you had one of your own.

Catch the many other animated hits on DISH Network with HDTV such as Shrek, Up, and Wall-E. These are all films that the whole family can enjoy, and they’re definitely not short of entertainment.

Toy Story 3; Another Great Disney Pixar Hit

24 June, 2010

Don't miss Toy Story 3 as Woody, Buzz, and the whole gang have their greatest adventure and challenge yet!

Who would've ever thought a movie that was made for kids could be so riveting and make a whole movie theater full of adults clinging onto their seats, completely silent, anxiously awaiting what will happen next? This is the reaction that occurred while watching Toy Story 3 this past weekend.

Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and the gang return in this third installment of Toy Story. There are a few new characters including Ken (Barbie's Ken), three peas in a pod, a triceratops, and several others.

Andy is now grown up and ready to head out to college. The toys haven't been played with in years since he's grown out of his "little boy" stage. The toys are aching to be played with and are accidentally packed away to be donated to a daycare facility. The toys go through absolute mayhem to make their way back to Andy.

Tom Hanks returns as the voice of Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, and Michael Keaton does the voice of Ken. This is a great movie that the whole family can definitely enjoy. Watch the other two Toy Story movies on DISH Network on DISH HDTV and experience all the events that lead up to the third installment of these exciting Disney Pixar hits.

Step Right Up And Get Your Local Channels From DISH Network

24 June, 2010

DISH Network is the first premium home television provider to offer local channels in their DISH Network packages in every broadcast market in America.

DISH Network launched local broadcast channels in 29 markets this month, becoming the first and only premium home television provider to offer local channels to its subscribers in every market nationwide. These new markets are primarily smaller, more rural markets that have historically been out of luck when it came to local channels as part of their broadcasting package.

There's nothing worse than discovering, only after you've moved to a new city or switching to an inferior home television service provider, that your local channels are not available. What do other companies expect you to do, go without? This begs the question, why would you?

Choose DISH Network and be assured to have your local channels, no matter where you live in the United States!
